The Journal of Social Sciences and Law (JSSL) is strongly committed to academic integrity and the originality of scholarly works. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening prior to the peer review process.

Screening Procedure:

  • Plagiarism checks are conducted using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent tools.

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20% (excluding direct quotations and bibliography).

  • If the plagiarism level exceeds this threshold:

    • The manuscript will be returned to the author for revision

    • Or rejected outright in cases of serious plagiarism (e.g., full plagiarism, extensive self-plagiarism, or source manipulation)

Author Responsibility:

Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their submitted work. All quotations, paraphrases, and references from other sources must be properly cited in accordance with the journal’s required referencing style (APA Style).
