Journal of Social Sciences and Law (JSSL) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This publication ethics statement applies to all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. JSSL adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.

Proper and accurate citation of sources is required.

The manuscript must not be under consideration elsewhere or previously published.

All individuals who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors.

Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

Editor Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for the editorial process and final decision on submitted manuscripts.

Editors must assess manuscripts objectively and fairly, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or political beliefs of the authors.

Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted materials and must not use unpublished content for personal gain.

Editors should avoid conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a competing interest.
Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions through objective and constructive reviews.

Reviewers must keep manuscripts confidential and not use their content for personal benefit.

Reviews should be honest, objective, and submitted in a timely manner.

If a reviewer feels unqualified or has a conflict of interest, they should decline the review invitation.
Publisher Responsibilities

The publisher supports the editorial process and ensures that the publication system operates professionally and ethically.

The publisher works with all parties to prevent ethical misconduct and handles allegations of misconduct seriously.
