Economic, Management, Business and Accountancy International Journal (EMBAIJ) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring the integrity of the academic record. We adhere to the principles and guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The following responsibilities are expected of all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Authors' Responsibilities:

  1. Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Proper citations and acknowledgments must be given for all sources used.
  2. Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently. Submitting the same research to multiple journals is considered unethical.
  3. Authorship: Only individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors should have approved the final version of the paper and agreed to its submission for publication.
  4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
  5. Data Access and Retention: Authors should provide raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review and be prepared to make the data publicly available if practicable.

Editors' Responsibilities:

  1. Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published based on their significance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal's scope.
  2. Fair Play: Manuscripts will be evaluated for their intellectual content without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
  3. Confidentiality: Editors must ensure that information regarding manuscripts submitted by authors is kept confidential.
  4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Editors should not use unpublished information in their own research without the author's explicit written consent.

Reviewers' Responsibilities:

  1. Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and, through editorial communication with the author, may assist the author in improving the paper.
  2. Promptness: Any selected reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse themselves from the review process.
  3. Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
  4. Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
  5. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

Publisher's Responsibilities:

  1. Upholding Academic Integrity: The publisher is committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.
  2. Support for Ethical Guidelines: The publisher will assist in the communication and implementation of these ethical guidelines and work closely with editors to ensure the integrity of the published record.

By adhering to these ethical standards, EMBAIJ aims to foster a trustworthy and respected academic environment, ensuring the publication of high-quality research.
